NEW FOR 2019
After running the B&B for 10 years Johnny has decided to run The Tritsch House primarily as a vacation rental for the 2019 season. Bring your group to enjoy all that this charming five bedroom house has to offer, as well as full access to the kitchen. Normal B&B operations will be available for April, mid- October, and November. Single rooms will be available during the week for the entire 2019 season, but no breakfast will be served. Last minute weekend rooms will also be available all season (two or less weeks out) Please contact Johnny if you have any questions on booking or dates. The Tritsch House is located in quaint historic Alma, Wisconsin. This river town is one of many in the area that is hugging the banks of the Mississippi River. The Tritsch House is a beautifully restored Queen Anne. This Queen Anne is nestled into the bluffs and has wonderful views of the River. The house was built in 1902 by Frank Tritsch – who was the first male child born in the city of Alma. You will love this old home, featuring many older amenities and newer updates throughout. The period rooms with their gorgeous antiques will have you convinced that you have stepped into the last century.
Alma was recently voted the second most scenic city in the State of Wisconsin, so come and enjoy all the nature has to offer! In Alma you will find walking paths, activities such as boating, fishing, canoeing or kayaking, art galleries and wonderful shopping. Enjoy dining out at our number of restaurants around the area. Just imagine sitting out with a glass of wine while you watch the beautiful Alma sunset with that someone special.
We feature five guest bedrooms all of which have private bathrooms, and three with private two-person Jacuzzi hot tubs. All of the rooms are lovingly decorated and feature a large flat screen TV for your enjoyment. Come and relax on one of our four porches and enjoy the river views, or just catch some sun. In the morning, enjoy a homestyle breakfast with your choice of juices, coffee, or tea.
The Tritsch House is now entering into its eighth year of operation. The inkeeper, Johnny Elliott, is a young and energetic person who will work hard to make your stay memorable, The bed & breakfast features some new and fresh ideas that you will find fun and exciting. Try out the 9′ Olhaussen pool table in the parlor room or watch the game on the Big Screen TV. There is plenty to do outside, such as taking a hike up to Buena Vista Park on the Alma Hiking Trail.
